The day in which Germany and Argentina decided who would be the champion of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, on Sunday July 13th, one of the most famous clubs on the island, Space, celebrated their anniversary. 25 years littered with top music, welcoming within its walls the biggest names in the electronic scene and commanded by the incombustible, Pepe Rosello, who personally invited the crowd to enjoy the party. The posters on the walls of the bars of Playa d'en Bossa, announcing an endless lineup of national and international artists chosen for the Space 25 years, presaged a great birthday evening at the outdoor terrace. The exclusive dance floor of two of the most anticipated events in Ibiza, which mark the beginning and the end of the season.
A great team of performances with futuristic costumes and a shower of silver papers surprised the clubbers to early afternoon, while the Irish deejay, Annie Mac, wasted energy on stage. During the performance of Javi Bora, the stage was soaked in a characteristic Spanish touch thanks to a group of flamenco dancers.
The Space resident Camilo Franco; one of the leaders of Detroit techno, Carl Craig, the house master Erick Morillo, Fatboy Slim, R3hab, Jason Bye, Jimmy Edgar, Iban Mendoza, Marco Loco and so a long list of DJs giving their best distributed in five booth of the nightclub. Agoria, Andy Carroll, Nick Curly, Jhonatan Ulysses, Layo & Bushwacka, Tenshake, the Russian of the techno, Nina Kraviz and Skream along Route 94 were some of the names that helped to make the birthday memorable.
However this sounded birthday is not just limited to Ibiza. To celebrate its quarter century Space has prepared a tour with which will tour 25 cities from July 13th, exporting the best music to Cape Town and Johannesburg (South Africa), the Barbados Islands, Beirut (Lebanon), Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle (UK), Jakarta (Indonesia), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Moscow (Russia), New York (USA) and Toronto (Canada).
