This week we were lucky enough to be invited to San Antonio's popular daytime venue, Ibiza Rocks Hotel, for an afternoon of live music and fun under the sun. We've reached the hottest time of the year so daytime parties are but another excuse to top up the tan with a banging soundtrack in the background.
Providing an alternative to the islands dominant techno takeover, Ibiza Rocks hotel bring both innovative concepts and awesome energy to each event. With just a few more shows to go, it was time to see what Rudimental bring to this year's roster.

So far this season, the collaboration kings have hand-picked the best musical talent to curate their 'friends' for the 9-week residency. On this occasion, Tiffany Calver provided a fresh mix of old school classics, r&b and mainstream house music as we entered the creative venue.
From Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre's 'The Next Episode' to Julio Bashmore's festival smash 'Au Seve', it was the perfect daytime vibe and everyone was grooving.
Stefflon Don brought the sass, swagger and female empowerment to the party with a glamorous live show accompanied by fierce dancers. Switching between dancehall, rap and grime, the British superstar performed her popular hit songs '16 Shots' and 'Envy Us'. Dressed in a flame pattered jacket she set the dancefloor on fire with her bold stage presence and sumptuous performance.
During the production, the party starter invited five females up on to the stage for the ultimate twerk-off. The crowd went wild and roared with excitement. To finish, she ended on the tune that shot her stardom: 'Hurtin' Me'.
Resident DJs Patrick Nazemi and K1R3Y were on hand to keep the momentum high after Rudimentals headline performance and the pool of Ibiza Rocks stayed packed until close.
Staying true to the ethos of Ibiza Rocks, Rudimental not only provided a versatile DJ set of underground house, techno, drum and bass and chart-topping hits but they bring live music to Ibiza, something which the island is missing. Their trademark trumpet sound is prominent in most of their records and the rumble filled the venue.
We needed a sit down after this one. Confetti cannons and CO2 explosions popped off on every drop and the band hopped, skipped and jumped around the stage with an infectious amount of energy and enthusiasm.
Involving the crowd at every opportunity, they ran around the stage touching the hands of screaming fans and encouraged daytime revellers to let loose and be free. This is the sort of vibe that creates fun-filled holiday memories. We watched the end of their performance from the VIP balcony with a ginormous pornstar martini in hand, absolute bliss!
"You know I said it's true, I can feel the love, can you feel it too?" Are the exact words still rattling in my brain from the British bands iconic chart-topping summer tune "Feel the love". It's uplifting, anthemic, utterly bonkers and undoubtedly has everyone living in the moment.
The song is a true representation of what Rudimental stand for; realness and happiness. "Boo the VIPS" the frontman shouts down the mic. Despite their epic success, the band stay very humble and their passion to perform and make others happy shines through every performance; this is what makes the atmosphere so magnetic.
Disagreeing with the new VIP clubbing phenomenon, Rudimental encourage fans to have no pretentions and dance together as one. Popping bottles, spraying the crowd with champagne and pouring it into peoples mouths, the band mock the drinks prices and empower equality and love.
With the intention of putting everyone's clubbing experience to the top of their priorities, it is warming to see a group of artists which care so much about the fans. If you're looking for fun, then this is where its at.
