Nile Rodgers & Chic offered a spectacular live concert at the Hard Rock opening, held on June 13th, achieving a perfect connection with the audience. At the beginning of the gig, they even joked breaking their guitars before the sun went down, but we need not panic. The best live music carry on until after midnight.

It was the first opening of Hard Rock Hotel in Europe, a property developed from two former premises of Palladium Hotel Group (Don Toni Club and Don Toni Hotel), both owned by the Fiesta Hotels & Resorts brand of the Spanish hotel chain in Ibiza. The legendary band 'Chic', along with his co-founder and guitarist, Nile Rodgers, highly successful after his collaboration on the 'hit' of Daft Punk 'Get Lucky', were in charge of the first gig of the iconic brand. Masters At work and Brian Cross were other of the Hard Rock’s artists.

The glamorous hotel terrace showed for the very first time the impressive scenario, lighting, fireworks and the best acoustic of guitars and live drums.

On the stage of Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will be also internationally renowned artists such as Neneh Cherry, UB40, Icona Pop, Ellie Goulding; American rapper, Snoop Dogg (Nominated with 16 Grammy awards), the R & B artist and songwriter Robin Thicke, the songwriter and dancer Jason Derülo, and Placebo.

The Hard Rock Hotel of Playa d'en Bossa, with 5-star and 493 rooms (including 235 suites), promises by its luxurious facilities and great cast of guest artists, become the meeting point for international celebrities, as the old hotel that today is Hard Rock used to be. In fact, Bob Marley stayed during his concert on the island in 1978.
