Corona, the legendary beer brand, will arrive on Friday, August 29th, to Ibiza to celebrate the end of one of the festivals which has been travelled the best beaches around the world this summer making dance under the sun thousands of partygoers. Under the motto, "Corona Sunsets" the electronic music platform SFX Entertainment announced at the International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibiza last May an alliance with Corona and Beatport for the organization of several festivals on the beaches during the summer time. Behind this project are producers of great musical events as Tomorrowland, Mysteryland and Sensation.
The Sound of the Beach, a genre that fuses the Balearic beat and deep house music, has been the basis of this project that has toured the UK, Canada, Mexico and Spain during the summer.
Ibiza will host the last festival at the Ferry Terminal of Botafoch with a privileged view of the city and the Cathedral. On the Stage Griffin, big names of the current electronic scene as the British duo Disclosure, and the dubstep and deep house producer Maya Jane Coles, plus Bondax, Rob da Bank, Eton Messy and Thalab. The alternative at the dishes come from Nightmares on Wax who will offer a compilation of the best hip-hop and funky sounds.
The other scenario, the Crown Stage will host a more intimate programming with sets of finalists of the Beach Sound DJ Competition, including the winner that will also be awarded during the event.
Sunsets Corona’s team was working on cleaning the beach Cala D'Hort, on Wednesday August 27th from 9:30 am with the initiative Save the Beach of the platform Sunrise which try to recover the natural state of the beaches. An international program of events included in Corona Sunsets, through a partnership with the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and Global Blue Flag.
