Swedish House Mafia is a Swedish electronic music supergroup formed in 2008 by Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. They are renowned for their influence on the EDM scene and for hits that have dominated dance floors worldwide.
In 2010, they released their compilation album Until One, which included singles like "One (Your Name)" and "Miami 2 Ibiza". This album solidified their presence in the international electronic scene. In 2012, they presented Until Now, another compilation album containing hits like "Don't You Worry Child" and "Save the World". Both albums were released under the Polydor Records label.
After a hiatus in their career, the group returned in 2022 with their first studio album, Paradise Again, released through Republic Records. This album showcased an evolution in their sound and was accompanied by a successful world tour.
In 2024, Swedish House Mafia announced that they had worked on a second studio album but decided to scrap it and focus on releasing singles. Among these are "Lioness", "Ray of Solar", and "See the Light". This decision reflects their commitment to quality and constant evolution in their music.
