The german Paul van Dyk is one of the most popular DJs in the ibicencan night scene. In 2012 we found him again hosting Thursday nights at Cream in Amnesia, where he was leading DJ for many years, in company of world class artists like Deadmau5 or Above & Beyond. In 2014 Paul come back as a headliner. It has given rise to terms including ‘genre creator’, ‘visionary’ and ‘studio maven’, as well as others like ‘pacifist’, ‘activist’ and ‘world-citizen’.

PvD is a DJ full of energy, who enjoys each of his acts and connects perfectly with his fans. He is one of the main trance promoters, a DJ you can’t miss in Ibiza.

Very recognized during all his career, he’s been nominated to the “Best Dance/Electronic Album” at the 2005 Grammy, and awarded many times: “Best Trance DJ” (2006) at the Ibiza DJ Awards, “Best European DJ” (2004 & 2007), “Best Global DJ” (2005 & 2006) and “Best Producer” (2006 & 2009) at the International Dance Music Awards, amongst others. He’s been in the DJMag top 100 ranking for the past 13 years, placed in the first position in 2005 and 2006.

The German was nominated last DJAwards 2013 gala in the category "Trance" but ultimately the prize went to Armin Van Buuren. In 2011 he was ranked #11 of the top 100 ranking DJMag and in 2012, at #16.
