Eric Prydz

Eric Prydz is one of the most influential producers and DJs in electronic music. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, he has become a prominent figure in the progressive house, tech house, and electronic music scenes in general. His career began in the late 1990s and has steadily grown in popularity, being recognized for both his technical ability and his innovative approach to music production.

Regarding his discography, Prydz released his much-anticipated debut album, Opus, in 2016 through Virgin Records. This album stands out not only for its sound quality but also for its extensive format, lasting over two hours, making it a true testament to his ability to create large-scale electronic music. Opus includes hits like "Generate", "Every Day", and "Liberate", which have become EDM classics. Moreover, the album was highly praised by critics, being highlighted as one of the best albums of the 2010s by Spin.

Prydz is also known for his side project, Pryda, under which he has released a series of EPs and compilations. For example, in 2012, he released Eric Prydz Presents Pryda, a triple album that combines his most recent productions with classics from his catalog. Prydz’s music has been defined by its melodic approach and his ability to create immersive atmospheres that have attracted audiences worldwide.

In 2025, Prydz takes over the stage at [UNVRS] every Monday from 2nd of June to 1st September, to present his revolutionary new project, Holosphere 2.0.
